The 30 most popular Linkedin passwords!

I sometimes despair for the future of the human race!

A list of the most popular passwords stolen during the recent Linkedin hack has been published on Mashable:

I find it hard to believe that nearly 450 professional people believe that ‘1234’ is a suitable password to protect their personal information, let alone to rely on a miraculous intervention by ‘god’!

Perhaps some people shouldn’t be allowed near the Internet in case they hurt themselves!

However, for those of us fortunate enough not to have their passwords on this list, there is still some hope. Lastpass have created an online tool that will allow you to check if your password was compromised or not:

Their best advice, if you haven’t already done so, is:
1. Change your LinkedIn password
2. Check if you have re-used your LinkedIn password on any other websites and if so, change those passwords too.

Sounds like a good idea to me, I was getting bored with ‘notset’ anyway!
